My name is Sohel Chowdhury, and I am a street and portrait photographer based in Chittagong, Bangladesh. My journey into the world of photography began in 2015, but my love for capturing moments has been a part of me since childhood. Even before I understood the technicalities of photography, I found joy in using a mini camera to capture various subjects. To refine my skills and deepen my understanding of photography, I enrolled in a Basic course at the Photobank Institute in 2015. This course was led by the renowned photographer Mr. Shoeb Farooque, who imparted valuable knowledge and guidance. Additionally, I took a basic Photoshop course at IOP, led by the esteemed photographer K.U. Masoud. It was during this time that I purchased my first DSLR camera, which marked the beginning of a new chapter in my photographic journey. Throughout my career, I have embraced the power of social media, sharing my images on various platforms. I have always strived to infuse a human element into my photographs, as I believe it creates a stronger connection with the audience. I aim to compose simple yet compelling shots, carefully considering as a photographer. In the early days, I would compare my work to that of successful photographers, analyzing my weaknesses and ensuring that I did not repeat them. Additionally, I have dedicated myself to continuous learning by reading articles and following blogs from experts around the world. Looking ahead, my vision is to evolve into a highly skilled photographer who creates stunning artistic photographs while minimizing mistakes. I aspire to captivate viewers with my unique perspective and contribute to the ever-evolving world of photography. Through my work, I hope to leave a lasting impact and inspire others to explore their own artistic passions.
